1. Scrutiny Standards & Technological Augmentation

This verification document defines the academic and professional rigour of the Neurocoach Level 5 Programme. The curriculum is mapped against the Institute of Coaching (IoC) standards and the SQA Performance Descriptors.

To ensure the highest quality of study, Neuro Learn Ltd collaborates with Vertex AI as a dedicated thought partner. This partnership facilitates the synthesis of cutting edge neurobiological research and ensures that the Applied Coaching Practice components are supported by rigorous, data informed frameworks.

Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) & Vertex AI Protocols:

“Certification is contingent upon the candidate evidencing higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The assessment process, supported by Vertex AI verification tools, ensures candidates can critique traditional deficit models and justify neuro affirming interventions through the Dynamic Development Plan (DDP).”

2. Comprehensive Assessment Architecture

Professional competence is verified through longitudinal evidence across two primary academic pillars:

Pillar I: Continuous Applied Portfolio (CAP)

A sequence of twelve weekly analytical units (300 to 500 words each). Each unit requires the candidate to apply the DDP framework to simulated coaching cycles, verified against evaluative and synthesis based benchmarks.

Pillar II: Integrated Synthesis Thesis (Summative)

The final benchmark is a 3,000 to 3,500 word thesis. This paper serves as the primary summative evidence of academic mastery. Vertex AI thought partnership encourages candidates to engage in deep reflexivity, requiring:

  • Critical evaluation of the DDP blueprint against peer reviewed neuroscience.
  • Analysis of the “Double Empathy” problem in high level coaching practice.
  • Utilisation of a minimum of 12 diverse academic sources.
  • Demonstration of professional autonomy and identity affirming advocacy.

3. Evidence of Applied Coaching Practice

In addition to academic study, candidates must complete 12 weeks of face to face tutor led sessions. This Applied Coaching Practice involves professional supervision and real world coaching simulations. This “Practitioner-Scholar” approach ensures that graduates are practically competent to implement the DDP blueprint within educational and corporate environments.
